Is PayPal Easy?
Posted By admin on May 6, 2009
Hello again, so happy to see you. I hope that your day has been pretty good and I am sure you are wanting to get started so lets begin.
The PayPal set up. The 1st thing you will need is a bank account. You will need this if you want set up an account specifically for this so you can transfer the money from the account to the bank with ease. Perhaps start a new savings account separate from any other bank accounts you have.
Ok, so what plan to choose, there are 3 options. Personal, Premier and Business accounts. They are all free to sign up for. So which one should you choose? Quick note here: you can upgrade at any time, so if you want to start with a personal account or if you already have a personal account you can upgrade it to a premier or business account later. We suggest if you are just starting out to go ahead and sign up with the premier account. If later you decide to switch to a business account then feel free to at that time.
You will need your e-mail address the one you set up previously, because you knew you were going to need it for this, this is going to be your login. You’ll also need to create a strong password. I strongly suggest you read this article on passwords it’s near the bottom of the page although the entire article is very good and gives you information on how to keep safe while using a computer.
Ok back to the PayPal sign up, fill out the form using all the proper information. They don’t share your information, check out their privacy policy.
You are then given a choice of how you want to pay for purchases. If you plan on using this feature choose the way you want to pay with. Depending on which feature you choose, you will need a few things handy to fill out the form. So pull out your banking information, you will need your bank’s name, your account type (checking or savings), the bank’s routing number and your account number both of which can be found on a check, or if using a savings account you can ask your bank for this information if you don’t have it handy.
If you’ll be using a credit card, then have your card ready. Just fill out the easy to fill in forms and you will be done. Don’t forget to verify your account information (we suggest you use with the bank account set up specifically for using PayPal) and your done. You will have to wait a few days for PayPal to verify your account, what they do in transfer a few cents into the account and have you verify it is there to make sure the account works. You now have a PayPal account ready to receive money, how easy was that? Pretty darn easy if you ask us.
